Dotty Black is an independent card publisher based in Northumberland, founded by Ebony Newton in her home studio. After 15 years in the greetings industry and becoming a parent, Ebony felt inspired to explore her own creativity, leading to the launch of Dotty Black in 2019.

The brand is known for bright, bold, and graphic designs featuring striking digital hand lettering and playful patterns, giving every product a distinctive, joyful style.

As part of a neurodivergent family, Ebony is passionate about challenging stigma and celebrating difference, weaving themes of empowerment and positivity into her work. Dotty Black creates uplifting, inclusive cards that honour individuality, celebrates our family heroes and spreads positive kindness.
